Our story began back in 1989. Back then, we started off as an apparel branding company that mainly operated from the basement within a humble home in Windsor, Ontario. Though difficult as a basement start-up may have been, both Eva Lee and Dennis Lee (founders of Smartex Canada) maintained an unwavering resolve to take their business passion to the next level.
Today, Smartex Canada is privileged to have grown from a basement workshop to an 11,000 square feet facility that is able to service clients from all across Canada. Our products and services have also expanded to allow us the capacity to fulfill our clients' creative needs in various methods such as Silkscreen, Embroidery, Heat Seal Decal, Heat Transfer, and Laser Engraving.
Due to events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have also repurposed a portion of our facilities to now provide personal protective equipment supplies such as 3-ply disposable face masks (Level 1 and 2), KN95 face masks, face shields, reuseable goggles, and disposable isolation gowns.
High quality printing techniques
Direct printing method using premium, non-phthalate inks to produce graphics that strike the perfect balance between stretchability and durability, along with a nice matte finish.
Direct stitching using premium polyester and polyneon threads, creating classy, colourful, and durable embroidered graphics with a slightly glossy 3D finish.
Direct graphic application method using printed, charcoal-based, heat-seal decals to create multi-million colour prints with a slightly glossy finish. Best for logos with distinct surrounding edges.
Direct printing method allowing for multi-million colour prints on complicated logos that have no distinct surrounding edges. Produces logos with a nice matte finish.
Direct application method using focused heat to engrave logos onto the garment, creating a classy, yet subtle feel. Logos can have both a slightly glossy or matte finish. Application only available for synthetic materials.
